D M of Lepton Highlanders banned for rest of season by Drakes Huddersfield Cricket League

Lepton Highlanders player D M has been banned for the rest of the season by Drakes Huddersfield Cricket League disciplinary chiefs.
The 41-year-old – who has been keeping wicket for Lepton’s first team in the Cedar Court Conference this season – has been suspended for using foul and abusive language towards umpires.
It’s a repeat offence for the player – formerly a bowler who has also played with Hoylandswaine and Lascelles Hall – hence the ban being eight weeks long.
It runs from midnight tomorrow to midnight on Thursday, September 17 – effectively ruling M out of cricket this summer because the Drakes season wraps up on Saturday, September 12.
During the period of the ban, M is not eligible to play in another league or competition operating under the England & Wales Cricket Board or the Yorkshire Cricket Board.
